As I look back in the sands of time
I see faces I see places
Distant lands and distant dreams
Distant people, distant worlds
I see the future, I see the light
Glowing and shining, beckoning me forth
A calm transcends the heavenly horizon
As I free eternities of slavery
Was all this a dream
Was all the real, illusory?
My questions seem vain

Zindagi ki bhag daud mein
bhool gaye manzil
aaghaaz aur anjaam
se ab bekhabar hai dil
kyonki bhatak gaye hum
kinare se bahut duur
sahil aur maujo mein bhi
hain tumhara tasavvur
farishtey bhi humse kyon roothe
humne to bus di thi dua
insaniyat ke darwaze par
mila kohra aur dhua
ab jaao bhi tum
yun zehan ko na satao
Kabr par lagi mitti ko
zindagi ki tamanna na dikhao

an encounter on the oasis
I was walking by the oasis
finding a place to pee
A camel walked by
Laughing at me
I told him he was an ass
The camel got offended
He called me a “Human”
Thats how our duel ended
forgot to write my poem for the day
undeserving you
understanding me
underestimated my
capability
unforgiving you
unforgetful me
unfortunately though
all this tragedy

To be or not to be
Things I dont want to be when I am 45:
1) Just another “normal” person
2) A hypocrite who, if he would have followed the same advise he dishes out so generously to other people, would have been someone else
3) Selling insurance in Indiana
4) Be a used car salesman in Schaumburg, Illinois
5) Look back and regret all those moments [...]
